Automatic time-setting case
Client : Bulgari Horlogerie
Developed in collaboration with Dietlin and Bulgari Horlogerie, this case not only winds but also automatically sets the time of the Octo Finissimo Ultra model, a high-end timepiece just 1.70 mm thick.
This showcase is a combination of skills from our engineering department, mixing mechanics, ultra-low power electronics, optics and embedded programming.
The main challenge of this development was to design a sensor to precisely determine the position of the hand on the dial. This technology has now been patented.
The case was presented at Watches & Wonders in Geneva in April 2024.
