FiveCo, 15 years of innovation and independence, Made in Switzerland
On 17 September 2017, FiveCo celebrated its fifteenth anniversary. This engineering firm has maintained its independence by cultivating its vision of "innovative engineering Made in Switzerland". Establishing itself in the canton of Vaud as a specialist in microcontroller-based systems with embedded intelligence and complex mechanics, FiveCo has collaborated on more than one hundred and fifty heterogeneous projects across the watchmaking, luxury, industry, metrology, medical, automotive, and robotics sectors.
The history of the company mirrors that of its innovations: a windowless watch display stand created for Hublot, a cigar box with autonomous temperature and humidity management designed for Imperiali Industries, the X-Smart IQ — an iPad application for endodontics developed for Dentsply Maillefer… The defining characteristic of the FiveCo spirit is independence. It is precisely this independence that allows the company to maintain a genuine freshness and a fresh perspective on every subject it tackles. A state of mind reflected in the book published specially for the occasion, in which Antoine Lorotte, CEO of FiveCo, shares his reflections on the world of Swiss enterprise.
